 The Race -

The race is run entirely on the sandy beach stretching from Borth down to the dunes at Ynyslas before returning to the start.

Timed to begin at low tide the challenge is to complete the race and keep your feet dry - although on a hot summer's day many runners take the opportunity for a quick dip at the end.

The 1 mile Junior race (minimum age 7) starts a few minutes after the main adult 10k, heading out to the half mile marker point before returning to the staring point.
